The Roughers are coming off a 21-13 loss to Bentonville West last Friday night at Indian Bowl. Anthony Watson led the way on the ground for Muskogee with 118 yards on 20 carries. Freshman quarterback Jamarian Ficklin completed 14 passes for 174 yards and two touchdowns versus Bentonville West.
Rogers did not play last week with a scheduled off-week but defeated Arkansas Class 6A foe Siloam Springs, 51-40, two weeks ago. The Mounties named Chad Harbison as head coach following the retirement of Mike Loyd. Harbison served as offensive coordinator the last two seasons and is in his 20th season of coaching. He previously was the head coach at Harrison (Ark.) and Elkins (Ark.).
