
MUSKOGEE, Okla. – Muskogee sophomore Candon West qualified for the 2021 OSSAA Class 6A Cross Country State Championship Meet after he placed 30th at the 2021 Class 5A and 6A Owasso OSSAA Regional Cross Country Meet at Mohawk Park with a time of 17:43.03 on Saturday, October 23, 2021.
West will compete in the State Championship Meet on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Edmond Santa Fe High School (1901 W. 15th Street, Edmond, OK). The Class 6A Boys race is scheduled to start at 9:15 a.m. with the 6A Awards ceremony scheduled for 10:00 a.m. The top 15 individual finishers will medal.
Admission is $10.00 for adults and students. The 2021-2022 OSSAA pass is the only pass accepted for the State Championship Meet. A driver’s license must be presented with the pass. The OSSAA pass admits the card holder only.
State Cross Country Championship tickets will be sold online only. No tickets will be sold at the sites. Tickets can be purchased HERE.
