Coach: Lynwood Wade
20-21 Record: 11-6
Expectations for success on the hardwood remain for the Roughers revolving around a senior laden roster and last year’s leading scorer, Javontae Campbell (6-3, Sr.) whose 18.3 points per game helped the Roughers reach overtime in the Class 6A area tournament last season. “Soup” defended the best player on our opponents last year and scored on the best defenders,” said head coach Lynwood Wade who enters his third season at the helm. Experience will be a plus for Muskogee including Sam Hiner (6-3, Sr.) adds sharpshooting talents while Bryce Duncan (6-4, Sr.) gives the Roughers defensive strength being able to defend opponents at any position. Wade welcomes the finishing skills of Dre Titsworth (6-0, Sr.) along with the defensive quickness of Keondre Johns (6-3, Sr.), plus perimeter talents of Joe Campbell (6-0, Sr.) and Braylin Reed (6-3, Sr.), who returns after missing last year due to injury and gives a physical presence inside. “I’m also expecting our underclassmen to be a great addition in continuing our success.”
