Joseph Campbell is the Swiss Army knife for the Muskogee Roughers and head coach Lynwood Wade. Coach Wade said Campbell has played every position during his high school career, even when he was undersized at certain spots. Nevertheless, Campbell has shown he is a gamer and willing to take on all challenges.
We wanted to know more about the senior as his final season for the Roughers was coming to a close.
VYPE: Joe, what position are you playing this year?
Campbell: I’m playing guard.
VYPE: What do you love most about your team and teammates at Muskogee?
Campbell: No matter how big of a slump we get in we always pick each other up and push forward.
VYPE: Coach Wade has called you an unsung hero of this team. What does that mean to you?
Campbell: I might not be the most skilled or talented but I’m going to give 100 percent at all times!
VYPE: What would you like to do after you graduate?
Campbell: After I graduate, I would like to move on the play college basketball. No particular schools in mind, but a school that will take my talent to the next level.
VYPE: What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Campbell: In my free time I like to go to the gym and perfect my craft.
