MUSKOGEE, Okla. – Muskogee High School Varsity Boys Basketball, coming off a 2022 Jenks Regional Championship, will travel to Ponca City, Okla. to open Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association Area play versus Putnam City West at 6:30 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2022.
The winner of Muskogee versus Putnam City West will punch their ticket to the State Tournament. The loser will face the winner of Edmond Santa Fe – Owasso match-up with that game taking place at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 5 at Will Rogers High School in Tulsa, Okla.
The Patriots of PC West were ranked third in the East and hold a 19-5 record on the season. PC West earned their regional title Wednesday night with an 81-47 victory over Tahlequah.
Muskogee is coming off a 39-36 victory over No. 2 Jenks inside the Trojan’s Frank Herald Field House.
