Get to Know Muskogee’s Rheagen Summerhill – Presented by Evans Chiropractic

VYPE: What are your goals for yourself and your team this season?

Rheagan: My goal for this season is to keep getting better and pushing myself beyond my own expectations. A goal for my team is for us to grow closer together and make it to the playoffs this year.

VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?

Rheagan: The most fun I have had in the last year is at a Christ in Youth conference with my church.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade or coach and why?

Rheagan: My favorite teacher is Mrs. Brossett she makes learning chemistry fun and connects with her students on a personal level.

VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?

Rheagan: My favorite athletic memory was during a game when I was in eighth grade. I had twisted my ankle during the game and was pulled out. My coach wasn’t going to let me back in, but I convinced him. I went back in and within ten minutes I scored two goals. My coach was jumping up and down along with everyone in the stands. We ended up winning that game. That will always be one of the best memories I have.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?

Rheagan: A teammate that has left the biggest impression on me is Kameryn Walker. She always pushes me to do my best, how to be better and to never stop while on the field. We played on club teams together, but we go to different schools and when we play each other we always find each other after the game no matter the result. Off the field we are still very good friends and it’s a friendship that will last a lifetime.

VYPE: Who on your team has the best impression of your coach and who says the funniest things during games?

Rheagan: Celeste Lira is the funniest out on the field. She always makes friends with the other teams and jokes around with them while out on the field. She brings the teams spirit up no matter what is happening during the game. She can also imitate coach joking around with him and saying stuff the way he does.

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?

Rheagan: If I could pick anywhere to go on vacation I would pick to go to Australia and I would take my family and three closest friends.

VYPE: If you had $500 and had to spend it in the next 24 hours, how would you spend it?

Rheagan: If I had $500 and had to spend it within 24 hours, I would go on a shopping spree for new clothes and new cleats.

VYPE: Here is your chance to say hello, goodbye or thank you to anyone you wish.

Rheagan: I would like to say thank you to all of my coaches that have gotten me to where I am today as a player and a huge thank you to everyone, especially my family, for always supporting me.
