The Muskogee High Dance Team placed fifth this past weekend at the OSSAA Game Day regional competition at Piedmont, thus qualifying them for the second straight year to go to the state competition this coming weekend in Moore.
Competing in the Class 6A Large School Pom division, the team finished with a score of 428.8 and the fifth-place finish is the highest ever for a spirit squad at Muskogee.
“I’m super proud of the girls for not just the results of this past weekend but because of how the program has grown over the past few years,” said dance team coach Kya Fields. “I think this is just the beginning of building a really good program here.”
GOOD LUCK AT STATE DANCE TEAM!!!
