Muskogee High school football coach Travis Hill and head trainer Justin Laird have been named Region 3 Coach and Trainer of the Year by the Oklahoma Coaches Association.
Coach Hill recently completed his third year as the head coach of the Roughers, leading them to the 2023 Class 6AII state football championship. Prior to becoming head coach, Hill served for three years as the Roughers defensive coordinator and won the Class 5A state championship at Tulsa East Central in 2005.
Laird is new to the Rougher staff this year but brings with him 26 years of trainer experience at both the high school and professional level and 30 years of experience of training in the rodeo industry.
