Rougher senior Jaliyah Simmons recently signed a letter of intent to play college softball at the University of Arkansas-Rich Hill in Mena, Arkansas.
Simmons had a standout softball career for the Roughers with a career batting average of .460 as well as running track.
“Jaliyah is just an amazing player-a five-tool kid,” said Muskogee ‘s Hall of Fame softball coach Marc Dicus. “She can hit for average and hits with power, and can run and throw. And even as good of a player as she is and has been for us, she’s that much better a person. She is truly, truly going to be missed.”
Jaliyah will finish out her softball and track careers this spring as a Rougher.
THANKS FOR THE THRILLS AND GOOD LUCK JALIYAH
