Although the 2024 football season ended up short of a third straight trip to the Class 6A-II finals for Muskogee, several players were recently honored by being selected All-District performers for their efforts on the gridiron.
For the Roughers who went 6-6 on the season under veteran coach Dale Condict, Sacramento State-bound wide receiver Jamie Beasley was named the Offensive Player of the Year in District 6A-II-2. “Bease” had 59 receptions for 1003 yards and 10 touchdowns.

Two-way lineman Hayden Von Holt who recorded 57 tackles, five tackles for loss and five-and-half sacks won Ironman of the Year honors while kicker Zevelyn Balalong was the Co-Special Teams Player of the Year. Senior running back Marquis Chaplin, who ran for nearly 1000 yards and 16 touchdowns this season, was the Co-Running Back of the Year.

Other Muskogee players garnering All District Honors included center Hunter Lanier, defensive linemen Kyron Cope and Jack Green along with linebackers Coda Barnoski and Kaden Harken.
