Muskogee junior Perry Bartley has qualified to compete in the Class 6A state golf tournament for a third consecutive year.
Posting a 36-hole total 164, Bartley claimed one of the six individual invitations. Bartley opened the 36-hole event at Bailey Golf Ranch in Owasso with a birdie-4 on the opening hole of the day and then grinded his way the rest of the way for the state berth.
Bartley played as one of three individuals from Muskogee last year and was part of the Roughers 5-man team as a freshman in 2024.
Muskogee sophomore Luke Pool narrowly missed the state field posting a 36-hole total of 166. Ladd Elgin (169) was 5 strokes off the cut line. A pair of freshmen, Grayson McQueen and Warner Eaton also competed in the 6A Regional for the Roughers, coached by Ryan Dvorak.
The 54-hole Class 6A state championship will be played May 11-12 at Hillcrest Country Club in Bartlesville.
