Muskogee senior Jaye Barnoski has been named an All-State softball player for 2024 as a middle infielder by the state softball coaches association.
“She’s an amazing five tool softball player, the hardest worker on the team and an incredible young lady,” said Rougher softball coach Marc Dicus. “She’s talked with a few schools about college softball but now that she’s made All State that interest is sure to increase. She’s played shortstop for us the past four years, but she can play just about any position on the field and with that versatility it will be interesting to see where her next coach might play her.”
Jaye hit .396 for the Roughers this past season with 44 hits and 16 RBIs. Last summer she played on a travel team that won a U16 national championship, and she was named the tournament MVP. She was also named to the All-District team and was the district Defensive Player of the Year.
