3 Questions with Alexis Rodriguez from Muskogee
VYPE: How important are academics to you?
Rodriguez: Academics are extremely important to me. I always try to get my work done even if I have a volleyball event. After graduation I plan on going to college, hopefully an Ivy League, and traveling a lot, and hopefully cross a few places off my bucket list.
VYPE: What is your favorite subject in school and who is your favorite teacher?
Rodriguez: I don’t really have a favorite subject but, I would say I’m fairly good at math. My favorite teacher would probably have to be Mr. Singler because I’ve been a student of his for 2 years, and I really like the way he teaches.
VYPE: What is your favorite memory as a student-athlete at Muskogee High School?
Rodriguez: My favorite memory as a volleyball player would have to be my freshman year when our team went to the Claremore tournament and my friend Raegan fell asleep and was locked on the bus. Our coach got so mad but, we were all laughing so hard, and we thought it was really funny.
