The Muskogee Roughers will send three players to compete at the Class 6A state tournament after completing the 36-hole challenge at the OSSAA Class 6A East Regional tournament. Played on the rain-soaked Bailey Ranch track in Owasso, the Roughers stayed the course as senior Krew Thompson joined freshman Luke Pool and sophomore Perry Bartley to qualify as individuals for the 6A state championships to be played May 12-13 at Forrest Ridge Golf Club in Broken Arrow.
Thompson is a four-time qualifier while Bartley qualified for a second straight season.
The Roughers 5-player lineup, including 2025 senior Van Elgin and Ladd Elgin, a freshman, inished with rounds of 321-321 to finish in eighth place among the team totals.
Rougher golfers are coached by Ryan Dvorak.
